When this feature is enabled receipt margins will be considered when applying actions. Receipt and delivery dates are adjusted accordingly. For a purchase or a production order it is possible that receipt and delivery date respectively may be set in the past. However for a transfer order the receipt date must always be after the ship date. In situations of scheduling backwards from the requirement date and resulting in a past ship date on a transfer order, the receipt margin will be applied only partially or not at all, since the ship date on a transfer order cannot be set in the past.
